The Heron is a lovely, comfortable and well designed cottage, and a private fenced yard with HUGE, sunny decks, surrounding it. It is a beautifully decorated, and designed for two couples to share the space yet retain night time privacy. At night, it transforms into two private sleeping suites, with private access to the bathroom. It can sleep up to **4 people in winter, and with the outdoor summer daybed, up to **5 people.
When you enter this private courtyard, you are welcomed by a large hot tub that seats 6.
This is a nicely decorated elevated cottage has cherry floors throughout and beautiful area rugs.
There is a full bath with a marble floor and enclosed tub and a fully equipped kitchen which has black granite countertops, a full size range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, espresso maker, and dishwasher, and everything you'll need to make yourself at home.
The bedroom has a pillow topped California King-size bed, and a set of interior French doors that open out to the living room.
In the living room the comfortable leather sleeper sofa folds out to become a comfortable queen size bed. There is a gas fireplace for heat and ambiance.
Two sets of French doors open onto a 2nd story deck, with outdoor dining set, and lovely views of the redwood forest.
In the summer months, on the lower deck, there is a seasonal outdoor daybed that can provide an additional sleeping space. (You'll feel like you're camping in the woods, but in luxury. Upon request, we will provide an electric blanket and all of the extra, luxury linens).
Depending on the time of year, this cottage will sleep **4 to 5 people.
**If you require more sleeping space, there is an auxiliary sleeping cabin available as an add on to your cottage.
The sleeping cabin has a queen bed, w/c only (no shower), and is detached.
This sleeping cabin may not be rented separately, but is available to our cottage guests as an add on. Additional charges apply. See "Camp Serenity" for more information.)
All of our cottage have private yards, private hot tubs, private gas grills, fully equipped kitchens, gas or electric fireplaces, premium TV, w/movies, use of a cell phone (upon request), WiFi, use of the common area, with fire ring. We are 1/2 blocks away from two old inns with comfortable bars that overlook the Russian River. We provide luxury linens, bathrobes and oversize towels.

Oct - April---$225/nt or $1350/wk **(optional add on cabin $75/nt or $450/wk)
